My Background

Robert "Andrew" Reid joined the family business at New York Life as an agent in March 2008. From these early days, he has always been client-focused and goal-oriented. By spending time asking about peoples' families, about their goals and objectives, and by monitoring their progress over the years, Andrew has developed a loyal clientele. From basic insurance planning to complex estate and/or business succession planning, Andrew has helped his clients to minimize taxes, plan for the distribution of assets, and to ensure that family businesses are successfully handed off to the next generation. As his clients' needs have evolved, he now also spends time and energy helping his clients prepare for their retirement income; managing the health, longevity, investment, and tax1 risks that we all face as we get older.

In his profession, Andrew is a Member of the Million Dollar Round Table2 in 2019, 2020 and 2021, as well as a member of New York Life's President's Council3 in 2022.

A University of North Alabama graduate in 2007, Andrew was a 4-year letterman on UNA's football team and was selected All Gulf South Conference in 2006. Andrew is married to Kacy, and they have 2 daughters: Maggie and Mary Caroline. They reside in Homewood, AL. When he's not working, Andrew loves golf, hunting, bow fishing, cooking, Marvel movies, and watching 'the trenches' of college and NFL football.
